Dealership - Operations Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Meet established goals for Branch Revenue, Margin, Absorption and Profit.
    • Develop and execute strategic plans to ensure continued location success
    • Oversee, and be accountable for, the performance of the Parts, Service, and Body Shop departments.
    • Appropriately communicate and manage employee, customer, supplier and vendor issues.
    • Working with key personnel, determine actions required to drive profitability, company image and customer satisfaction at the location.
  • Hire, train, lead and monitor performance of the Parts, Service and Body Shop departments, ensuring that objectives are achieved
    • Partner with Human Resources  to ensure that the location is staffed with the proper skillsets to meet company objectives.
    • Work with Human Resources to appraise employee performance and recommend change of status and or salary adjustments.
    • Determine current status of operations and assist managers in resolving challenges and seizing opportunities in their respective areas.
  • Collaborate with vehicle sales leadership to build and maintain customer relationships and company growth.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with lease customers, ensuring the proper, efficient, and cost effective completion of equipment repairs.
  • Ensure that the  Mission, Vision and Credo for Success is carried out in the daily operations of the Branch.
  • Operations Managers are required to stay abreast of the federal, state, and local regulations affecting their operations and comply with them, including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know regulations. Also they must provide the necessary leadership on regulations and ethical practices.
  • All other job duties as assigned.
